I don't expect to see ammunition until at least next year. And that's assuming that things are consistently calming down over that time.

Any disturbance (new gun control proposal or threat, new high profile shooting, etc) and the counter goes back to the start again.

I seriously think half the reason so many ARs are still available is people have realized they can never feed that AR. Not for a long, long time anyway.

Got the last 3 boxes of Fiocci 9mm for $17/each as well as some .45acp for $25/each at Gander in EP today. They told me they now have a new 5 box limit for most handgun rounds and 100rd limit on .22. Was actually able to get 100rd box of mini-mags for $8 and they had quite a few left in the box when I left. They are just opening up the cases behind the counter and you have to ask, becuase it is going pretty quick even with limits.

Almost feels like I just won a prize, since now I get to call the babysitter and take my wife out to finally shoot her new 9mm this weekend.

I'd just like small pistol primers, Jesus H.

Got wind from a coworker that L&M in Hibbing has (or maybe it's had now) 9mm in stock. American eagle for $18.99/box...

The Rochester Fleet Farm had tons of 9mm, .40, and .45 today. They had everything from 50 round boxes to 1000 round cases. I grabbed two 250 round packs of Magtech 9mm for $62.99 each. The Magtech 250 round .45 was $99.99 and UMC was $114. The 1000 round cases were also UMC, not sure on the prices, I forgot my glasses. The 9mm stuff was going fast.

Didnt FF adopt a new ammo policy, offering reservations if you gave them your info?

Guys: the panic is over. The market tightness persists. New thread.

They have a limit of one per customer per day for any box containing 100 or more.

This thread reminds me of driving across the state with my kids in the car... "are we there yet?" .... "what's that smell?" ... "Dad, she got 8 M&M's and I only got 7 - waaahhhh!!!" "Are we there yet?"

No, the panic is not over. Yes, people are going to take advantage and turn a profit when they can buy something and immediately sell it for 4x their money. Yes, other people will probably always have more luck than you when it comes to finding ammo. No, the panic is not over...

A guy behind the gun counter or a girl running a register?
Didn't blink when you said "2" or did't blink when you went back for box #2 disguised with an afro-wig, sunglasses and a pink "Obama 2012 shirt"? :o

Didn't have to ask for them, they're out on the floor. Put two boxes in my basket and walked up to the register, the cashier rang them up. If there was a sign up saying only one box per day, I didn't see it. But like said, I forgot my glasses and wouldn't have been able to read it anyways, had to ask a stranger what the price on the shelf was.
