More Junk we don't need from China. I bought a universal mount laser for my Glock 17 thinking it wasn't Chinese junk and that I had found a decent "deal". I got a "deal" alright. The way they mounted the battery sucks. When you fire the gun, the battery ejects out onto the floor each time it is fired. It never mentioned it was made for an airsoft, and now I am stuck with two of them and no airsoft guns....lol

Kenny at Atomic Tactical has a few dozen of these knock off optics hidden in boxes deep in their back room. He's too embarrassed to even show them to people. I think it's his "dirty little secret".

Real ACOG's use the fiber optic filament to self illuminate, and then have a tritium backup for dark use. No batteries needed. That there's no illuminated reticle on the fake is why it was originally so funny to me.

When it comes to optics, you get what you pay for.

It astounds me how people say "ACOG clone" and the only thing copied is the general shape. None of the functionality. At least with the EOtech clones that circulated a few years back, it actually functioned more or less like a fragile EOtech.
