This is my most recent build, it's a take on a LR-308.
I did the barrel from a blank and made the handguard (sorta) and a 80% Tactical Machine lower.
I need a proper scope and I have not decided on a finish yet.

Stupid question, but could you clear coat that and leave it "natural"? I don't know what it is, but that bright finish looks amazing to me.

Well guys, my first ever AR-15 in my 47 years on this rock and yes it is hard to look at in this condition but rest assured it was not of my doing but the original owner I got it from in a trade and as soon as I get some extra funds I am going to replace all that.

I still love this beauty even with the bad makeup.

Just stripped all the paint off, still some in the checks on the grip but have a new grip and stock inbound and still looking for a buffer tube kit under retail but may have to go to atomic and pay retail if no luck by the weekend.
