Word on the street is that Lakes Trading Co. in Forest Lake is also putting in an indoor range. I'm assuming that's already been discussed, but I'm just throwing it out there in a feeble attempt to get this thread back on track.

That's cool they have more ranges up in that area. I wish there were a few more south of the metro. Only one I know of is BPR. Yes, there's Gander and what not, but I don't want to pay by the hour or half hour, and they are expensive. What we really need is what was mentioned above for possibilities, a training center with CQC houses, etc, not just stand and fire at paper targets. That kind of practice has some value, but not really in a real-world situation. You can't even do holster work at indoor ranges, but judging by what I see go on at them, that may not be such a bad thing anyway.
I'd like to find a place that's reasonably priced for scenario training.
