If one thinks about it- that's a pretty strong (and preposterous) statement; in effect guaranteeing some employees' safety seemingly because some other employee has a carry permit.
(Not trying to derail an interesting thread, but the quoted remark really jumps off the screen as ignorant and irresponsible)
