Yes I verified, months not weeks.

Brooklyn Park Fleet Farm usually has a small quantity of handgun calibers, with varying results which ones it will be. Yesterday was .40 and .380 for semis. I have seen 9mm and .45 there within the last month.

I still haven't seen a .22 LR anywhere since Newtown.

I ended up giving away some of my ammo. I may shoot some, but I plan on giving my guns and ammo away to my best friend down the road, should it come to that. I canceled my orders with Cabela's for more .22LR ammo and with Brownells for 6 magazines for my Ruger Mark III 22/45. After ordering January 2013 and still not having the items 7 months later, I was still waiting and patient, but then with the Cancer diagnosis which has permeated every aspect of my life, why bother spending the money for something I will never use?

I usually shoot outdoors, but even though it's less lead exposure outdoors vs. indoors, I just don't want to make my liver and body work any harder trying to process foreign unknown substances like lead. I have tumors on my liver, so why make it work harder? I'm taking Milk Thistle to help it operate better, moving around to keep the Lymphatic System working too, etc.

So at least for me, the panic for guns and ammo is over. I have much larger issues to worry about these days. Keep that in mind when you think how horrible it is that you can't get XYZ at all or for ABC price. You could be me.

I stop pretty regularly at the Brooklyn Park Fleet Farm on my way home from work. I've caught CCI 22LR 100rd twice in the past month. Of course the limit of 1 sucks. Mostly I see .40 and .45 there. I've seen 9mm once in the past month.

Looks like another guns and ammo crunch may be coming according to Barry and Eric @ Moss Pawn - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PYBatIvmT58

It's got to be getting close. The posting here is dying off and the market place is a ghost town with no responses.

Was at Cabela's Owatana today, only .22 was match grade and tracers. The guy behind me at the checkout had two 50rd boxes of the match grade for $18.99 each. Ouch!

Walmart in Faribault had tons of .380, 9mm, .40, and .45 by Tula, PPU, Winchester, and Federal. They even had a 1000rd case of 5.56 for $447. Still no .22 though.

Gander in Eden Praire had lots of 22lr in numerous varieties. I made three trips there and ended up with 26 boxes. Mixed between Auto Comp 325 rd boxes and Reminington 525 boxes. Took a couple buddies too and they stocked up as well.

20 of the boxes were for other friends. I didn't even mark them up $.01. I guess I'm either dumb, or NOT gouger...lol

I was at Fleet Farm in Circle Pines on Monday (Labor Day) to pick up some pet supplies. Went and looked at the guns and ammo, just to check on supply. The ONLY handgun ammo on the shelf were boxes of 45 Colt and .44 magnum....NO .22 of any kind except for birdshot. I get to the checkout with my pet supplies and the guy in front of me has a sleeve of CCI .22 (5 boxes of 100 count). WTF!!! I have NO idea where he found those, but the clerk said there was limit of ONE box....so, I intervened and grab one box for myself...at $6.49. FIRST .22 I've seen anywhere in 9 months! And this one just "magically" appeared.

Nor do I. I will take some .22lr as payment on the SPP if you want. My SPP price is what I paid (in bulk) .

The ammo supply seems to be slowly coming back. I check fleet farm and walmart weekly (I don't even bother checking gander as their prices are laughable) and I have begun to see more and more handgun ammo pop up recently. I have also noticed that ammo prices are becomming more reasonable online. I picked up a 1000 round federal bulk box of 5.56 at fleet farm a couple weeks ago for 429 and ordered 1000 riunds of 9 from midway for 250 the other week. The trick is jumping on it if and when you see it. I have been monitoring slickguns online as they usually have a good listing of available guns and ammo.

I agree. Things are getting better, as are prices.

Just please, for the love of God, don't anyone buy any ammo from some reseller who made the panic so bad in the first place.
