Wow....just looked back and I bought a K of them from Midway, January 10th on sale for $150. One of these days I'll get around to trying them.

Yeah, they're cheaper than sierra's, but I can buy sierra's.

I'm curious how they work too. I've still got a ready supply of SMK's, but I don't want to buy more with that Nosler order hanging out there.

now the panic shifts to all the hunting loads they put off making. next thing you know a box of 30-30 will be 60$ on armslist.

The Nosler 77 CC's I'm using will run toe to toe with the 77 SMK at about 2/3rds the cost.
I will never apologize for being an American.

I was at FF Lakeville today, and as of 3:30 there were maybe 50 boxes of 100rnd WWB 9mm. That's the first time I've seen 9mm in stock at FF on a Saturday afternoon in a long time. A good sign I'd say...

I never did the math before I guess. I was thinking $4.99 for a box of 50 was a good deal.

Recently I was at Walmart and they had Winchester bulk 333 rounds for $14.99 limit 3 boxes. I should have bought all three boxes on the shelf but I only bought 2 figuring I would leave one for another desperate shooter.

At that $14.99 that was about $2.25 per 50.

I have seen 50 round boxes for $4.99 and bought them. I have bought 100 round boxes for $9.99.

I am going to have to watch the prices a bit closer. I just tend to see them on the shelf here or there and buy a couple.

Yesterday I was at the gun show in Hutchinson. There was a vendor there who had 2 of the Remington "bucket o' bullets"... Which is 1450 I think of .22 LR... I bought one in march at Scheels in St.Cloud for 79.99... This guy was asking 150! and told someone else the prior gun show he was at he had 2 of them there and sold them for 200 each! I'm not going to comment anymore on it. But I will say I didn't see any "cheap" .22 ammo...

One vendor had the PMC X-tac .223 there. 20 round box for 9.99 which I've seen all over for that. Then there was another vendor almost right behind him that had the same stuff for 15.99.. Couple of AR's there. Overpriced in my eyes.

Best deal of the day was one vendor had the Ruger SR22's there.. Plain jane one was 299.99! That was a good deal! Other than that I thought prices were high on everything.
