CZ gunsmith ?

Anyone know of a local or somewhat local gunsmith that "knows" CZs ? (PCR)

Kicking around the idea of getting some upgrade parts from Cajun Gun Works. Comp trigger, FP, perhaps their carry package. Not quite sure, not quite wanting to send my PCR down to LA.

I sent a Rami down there a a few months ago. Was really impressed by the work and his communication. I would send it.

CZs are easy enough to work on if you've got patience and have a moderate amount of mechanical aptitude, and a stiff drink to steady the nerves. The only truly frustrating part is the sear cage assembly, but mostly because of tiny springs that need a bit of finesse to reassemble. Worst case scenario: You die. That's the worst thing that could happen, and it's pretty unlikely. Much further down on that list is that you need to take it to a gunsmith for reassembly. I figure it is a good learning experience to do it yourself, but knowing how to service, maintain, and upgrade your firearms is an important, fun, and rewarding part of our hobby.

I've done some minor stuff on PCRs but didn't know if I wanted to do this much. Older eyes and to full of a plate, blah,blah,blah...

Nathan or Ryan Z at Bills are Mad scientists with CZs. They've each worked on one of mine. Ryan warmed over my 97 trigger and Nathan is half way through my 75, I'm waiting to get a SRT put into that one. Couldn't be happier with how they turned out.
