I have been off this site for a week due to some nasty pm's regarding my posting this and I did not understand why, so I made some posts myself that I kind of took it out on members who didn't deserve it.
I apologize for that and just want to move on with this and only this.

I thought the 45ACP uppers run just on a blow-back design like the 9mm uppers. No gas system, no locking bolt.

So moving on.... :)

These upper pics are with an AR-15 lower receiver which I need to run an adapter to accept Uzi mag, I was just showing that for the purpose of knowing how I started this lower project.
This will take the place of the standard lower and allow it to accept Grease gun mags.

My 45ACP is direct impingement.

As a fellow fabricator, I am anxiously awaiting detailed pics of your sheet metal lower build, but I understand why people... Myself included.... We're thinking that you were claiming that aluminum lower, to be your sheet metal build, since you didn't post any explanation until now.

Anyways.... On with the build!
