The hammer is about to come down next door and they are sitting on a ton of inventory that they'll have to discount the day Cabela's opens.... Awwwww..... 
At any rate, this started no more than a couple of months ago, and all this earthmoving equipment showed up and bulldozed the s**t out of that land in the corner, and then scaffolding went up pretty much overnight, and then they started putting up concrete block walls. Came back a few days later, and they had like 100 feet of wall two stories high done already, and progress has continued to go as fast as a gang-raped ape. I was trying to guess what the building was, and all I could guess was a big COSTCO, and I didn't think it could be a Cabela's because there wasn't 4 acres of land for a parking lot. At any rate, the main skylight? roof trusses went in today between the two halves of the store, and there is a small Cabela's sign on the South wall overlooking the freeway. It WILL have a smaller parking lot, but it's gonna be a full sized store.
So no more long range voyages to Owatonna or having to go through freeway hell from Woodbury up to Rogers and back. It's 7 minutes from my front door!! If I had to guess, based on the way these people are going, they want this store open for Black Friday after Thanksgiving....
