100%sure it is a privacy issue or I would not have sold my 27cc 6 foot span helicopter for half of the $5K I had in it. could carry a full size VHS camera although New technology would be a LOT lighter.

We where shut down by the state. Thats why you no longer see arial real estate photos.

I fly recreationally. There is no issue as long as I stay away from nude beaches etc. You may own the property, but everyone breathes the air.

Not to mention a helicopter is DANGEROUS. I know, I fly them as well.
And yes. Technology is WAY better.

Google's showing spring aerials prior to leaf out, so your fee needs to be 6 pack range for me, as that's pretty much whats left now. ;)

One mile range.
Is that for the live camera feed or control range of the copter flying it?

Can you post a link to demonstrate what your set up can do?

The above video uses a quad copter to herd sheep.

ETA: I give up... How the hell do you embed a Youtube video?

That's it.....I was on the fence with these, but After watching the first five seconds of that video, I'm getting one of those!

BTDT
I don't completely understand the youtube urls. What I did was copy the tittle: "Halloween Ghost Quad", then paste it into the youtube search field and find the video. I then copy the url of the video playing into the youtube brackets(you can see it if you do a 'quote' on this post).
I think the issue with the url you used is that it was embedded, whatever the heck that is.

That thing is even cooler then the fire breathing, remote control jack-o-latern I keep dreaming of building...

Thanks for the tip. Didn't realize there was a difference in Youtube URLs like that. Must have been from me copying it off of another site instead of from Youtube.

So you have no real time video feed from the craft?

If you get serious look at something over $1000 or you won't likely be happy with the purchase. Building your own is slightly cheaper. One of the better ones on the market run around $1200 but should go down some soon.

That sure does look like fun :D
I'm impressed with how steady the video is. I expected more vibration.

What is the practical wind speed limit for flying one of these?
