Thanks Andrew and thanks GOCRA!!

Support your local MN advocacy groups folks! Not kidding when I say that they're working 24/7 for us (and on an UNPAID basis too).

WOW! Just Wow is all I can say, Thanks to GOCRA and Mr. Rothman for getting on it. DONE AND DONE! Love it.

I just checked back in now to see what comments had been entered and was prepared to make the call myself this morning - dreading the bueracratic bounce around actually. Looks like we got the right people on the issue and with great results. Thanks for the quick action and for saving me from slogging around on the phone with the City.

A fantastic example of the advocacy and action that you get from GOCRA. These people really care about the issues that you and I care about and better still is they know who to call and how to get results. The approach was masterful and much appreciated.

Remember folks, you are the big stick that GOCRA has.

Without you guys, we have no influence or power.

We're quite literally are working around the clock, watching opposition movements, attending mundane hearings on the off chance that something affecting gun owner's rights might come up, keeping an eye on out of state interests trying to suck the oxygen out of the movement, ETC.

You guys are the minutemen. You have shown time and again that when we need you to defend your rights, and further our mutual interests, you show up. As you all know victory goes to those that show up.

A tough year is ahead of us. I humbly ask that if you have not joined GOCRA as a free or supporting member, please do so, and get like minded family and friend to do so too.

We've beat Bloomberg before, and he's coming back stronger. We need to be stronger too.

Thanks.

The most dangerous opponents I have seen in MN is gunowners themselves.

Park board members who are gunowners/hunters/farmers who feel that they can restrict gun usage/carry issues because they don't see it fitting in their nice little "thought" of what gunowners should be. So they ignore current laws.

Or they feel that a certain type of gun doesn't fit within their "thoughts" of what a hunting firearm are, so why do we need them.

And there are LEO's and sheriff's with those same thoughts.

And the Bloomberg types feed on them and thrive.

Unfortunately though, those enemy are in our own camps.

I agree and am quite sure Andrew did it with a little more Moxie since he understands the issues better than I. I'm sure I could have gotten there, the efficiency of the journey is another matter.

Yep, it's like the brewers throwing the distillers under the Prohibition bus.

And the concealed carriers throwing the open carriers...

Lots of finger pointing to be had from within the gun community itself, sadly. Would be nice if we could all hop on the same train, huh?

I'm on this train. However, we have to be smart.

No offense, but some people that open carry are doing it for the *wrong* reason. And we got that blowback from the Starbucks situation.

Andrew GOCRA just made the time before anyone else.

You make it seem as if no one else could have done this at all.

Sorry if I don't share your sentiment. The OP could have very well have completed it himself had he taken 5 minutes to call the main line and expressed his concern. From what Andrew reported, it was rather warmly received and they immediately knew there was an error and that it needed to be fixed NOW. And did so.

With no reservations.
