Address change on DL & Carry Permit

Postby mzdadoc on Wed Nov 20, 2013 8:58 pm

I live in Scott Co and thought I'd share how fast it was. Got married and I moved in with my new wife in my old house... Story for a different day. Lol
Went to DMV and paid $14.50 to change address on license. Waited 10 minutes. Then drove to Scott Co Sheriffs Dept paid $10 and needed my nipped license and yellow copy from DMV. Waited another 10 to 15 minutes and had a new permit with new address made on the spot. All done in less then a hour. Booya!!!!!

I love living in Scott Cty for many reasons. A Pro-Carry Sheriff is one of them.

Scott Cty is quick with new applications as well. I turned in my app at the end of the day on a Friday, my permit arrived in the mail the following Friday.

A friend of mine lives in Dakota Cty and they took the full 30 days to get his application done.

I had mine in roughly 3 weeks, and I live in Ramsey. Pretty surprising that anywhere else would be longer than Ramsey or Hennepin.
