Bowling Pin Pistol Leagues at Lakes Trading

Lakes Trading has two pistol leagues starting in the next week.

Starting this Thursday is our 7 week Bowling Pin League. We will continue with our open shoot from 5-7PM with League starting at 7:30. Course of fire will be four stations with 5 pins each at different distances, shooting each station twice per evening.

Scoring will be as follows:
10 rounds per station.
1 point for each pin knocked over.
1 point if pin falls off table.
One bonus point for each round left in the magazine for each station.
Max score per station is 15.

Week seven is a fun night with each person shooting all four stations in sequence with four different guns (Smith 686, Smith M&P Pro 9mm, Springfield Armory TRP 45, Smith M&P). Use of my firearms and ammunition for one round is included in the league fee. Each subsequent time through the course (time permitting) is $15 for ammo.

Cost for league is $120 including tax.

Just to expand on the Leagues, Lakes is having open shooting tonight for the Tuesday League that will be starting next Tuesday night.
I believe that it will be from 6:00pm-9:00pm.

I am running this one.

It is a VERY modified Bullseye League that will run for ten weeks.
I have run this type of league in the past and all the shooters have had lots of fun doing this one.

It will consist of 50 rounds to shoot, and will be shot by a course of fire at different yardage, timed. Commands are the same as in shooting Bullseye.
The big difference is that offhand and TWO HAND shooting is allowed.
I plan on keeping the yardage fairly close so the shooters are comfortable.

This will be a lot of fun, and trust me, if you are a new shooter you will become a better shooter doing this.

One more thing. My timer will consist of me using my Timex watch so don't worry too much about times to the millisecond:-)
