NRA lifetime membership

Postby Tubguy on Wed Jan 08, 2014 12:04 pm

NRA lifetime membership is $500.00 now.
I missed the $300.00 opportunity last year, but not this time.
One of us has to go and I'm staying

I wouldn't worry about it, too much.

Once you finish paying off your Life membership, they'll be hitting you up for an Endowment membership.

And after that, Patron membership, and then Benefactor.

I should probably join one of these days. Looks like the only way for me to get the reduced rate would be to be referred by another lifetime member though based on the terms in past years.

I have been a Life Member since 1975 and have never been hassled about moving up. Every gun owner should belong to the NRA, and if you can afford it become a Life Member.
If you decide to go with the Life, welcome aboard.

Not to start the argument, but if the idea is to contribute more would it not be better to renew yearly?
Did you just buy that beautiful firearm, or are you trying to sell that piece of crap?

... and those memberships don't go toward the political side of the NRA, they help pay for the 'free' magazine, stickers, NRA sponsored programs, etc. Still a good cause, but if you were looking to donate to the political, rights fighting part of the NRA, that's the NRA-ILA which is completely separate.

In case you didn't know.

Neither.

There's yet another one, "NRA Foundation" which funds grants, that is however.

The NRA does a lot, you just have to dig to find out where your money goes (if you have a preference).
