Shot mine today........agree with randygmn.......accurate and a pleasure to shoot.........recoil to me was negligible.
Just need to put more rounds downrange before carrying it.

Ok. I am going to try one last time. What would you find it comparable to? Last I recall you were comparing it to larger caliber alternatives. Let's say apples to apples here. Teach me something. Don't tell me how it's better than the LCP then say it isn't fair to compare them.

It is going to replace my diamond back DB9 and DB380, I see no need to carry them any more with this reliable gun around my office. I also carried a Kel Tech PF9 sometimes, see no reason to do that anymore either. My wife is only undecided as she has carried the PPK for so long, (I have been there its like a n old friend) but she will turn to the Glock after the next time or so she shoots it again. Now comparing it to any gun its size, not necessarily weight as many people like weight for added comfort shooting. Any plastic Kahr in the same size and plastic frame would be a candidate for comparison but more money as will be most of the reliable guns in this category. That is where I think ultimately the 42 will win out at $399 list at least at Bill hicks this is going to be attractive to guys like me who care more about jams. The Glock is not a mouse gun, I know no one who would want to get into a shoot out with a mouse gun if they had a choice. Some people buy guns with no regrets they have money and its just a toy. They also can have a collection of guns to chose from each day. Some people put their last dime on the one gun after they get their permit. I have talked to such people who have been coached into the LCP. After they sent it back twice for various problems (not being able to carry as its their only gun while it being repaired) when they get it back it still is unreliable and they say it is no fun to shoot. I have shot one many times, I break them in for my customers if they prefer (200 rounds) for a fee of course. I know from experience its no fun to shoot 50 times in one sitting and that is with a glove on. So you go to the range , pay $25 for a range fee and shoot it what 15 times and quit. How much fun was that? This is not just the LCP this includes the P3at and a whole host of mouse guns. They are not easy on your hand. I carry mouse guns only when I have no other choice, only! Then when I do they are ones that my self and my students who have helped me, have put through a thousand or so round's. Nothing helps a gun like a gazillion rounds through it. My most reliable M16 Machine F/A gun has 10,000 rounds or more of .223 through it and my UZI full auto that has about the same in 9mm. So I am not slamming any gun, I have never met a gun I do not love, some just more than others. Right now all I really care about is my AR50 50 BMG at all. No really a concealable gun.

That's what 100% perfect means right?
