Let me see, server in UT went down, NSA is in UT and has access to the data lines, NSA screws up a tap on the line and then damages the equipment to make it appear a failure and under threat tells the server operator to play along or be put out of business...

Maybe the alien lizard people forced the NSA to do that.

Supposedly there was a previously unknown bug in their router firmware that caused the outage.

was a joke... sorta... wouldn't surprise me if NSA screwed up a data line. They are government after all
