Feel free to ship it to anyone in the world as "auto parts" via USPS.
If taking advice from people on the Internet worries you perhaps you should have some other requirements.
Make sure to get a retinal scan of the buyer.
Take their fingerprints and send them to the FBI.
You can also get a renal and anal scan along with a DNA sample.
I'd also post it for sale here first.
The level of sarcasm there seems a little out of line.
If the buyer went to a store to buy it they would need a permit to purchase or permit to carry. A face-to-face personal sale though it is not by law required. A lot of people will tell you though that you should ask to see a permit to purchase or permit to carry, do a bill of sale, etc. It's basically all about covering your own #&* in case they use it to commit a crime. This page sums it up pretty well:
http://smartgunlaws.org/private-sales-in-minnesota/Dealers won't take just anything for consignment usually. Your asking price has to be right and they have to think it is something they can sell.
Another option is take it to auction. Lampi Auctioneers has an auction in June and stuff usually goes for decent prices there. You'll loose a cut similar to a consignment at a shop. I think it's 15% if under $300, 10% for $301-$1000 and 5% for $1000+. Obviously there's no negotiating the selling price though so there's some risk there. They only accept reserve prices on really high value stuff.
