Here's my newly re-stocked Palma rifle #2, just got home from the gunsmith 2 weekends ago:

Image

I have 2 barreled actions that fit in this stock. My smith machined 2 adapter plates to make the round Barnard actions fit into the square-bottomed Anschutz 2213 Precise stock and glass bedded both to the stock. 4 screws allow me to change it to a whole different rifle. I plan to get an anschutz square to round adapter for my 1913 small bore rifle so I can try shooting everything in this stock. The polished aluminum is nice, but not super practical for outdoor shooting. May end up Cerakoting or anodizing it if the glare gets too obnoxious.

Now don't go hatin on me.... I love me some Glock.

But if you were to ask most of the Glock owners out there what is the one thing they don't especially love about their Glocks, they'd probably say its looks. I'm also one of those people. Ive had the same G17 since I was a wee lad. After a while, I needed a change.

Personally, I really like the look of two tone guns. Specifically black and silver. So when I came across a good deal on this Raptor cut slide from the Glock Store, I had to at least try it. And while I was at it, I also got their Pyramid trigger system, extended safety and slide stop lever, and pin kit.

I also added a TLR-1 for things that go bump in the night, and a set of TruGlo TFO sights. I also have a stipple job planned...

I've put about 200 rounds though it and love it, so I thought I'd share.

Well these turned out nicely!! Both have the blackened BHW barrels. One is an 18" .223/5.56 and the other is an 18" 6.8.

Nothing really special about this shotgun except that you don't run into them every day. It's a Belgian-made Browning Double Automatic, also called the "Twelvette." It was designed by John Browning's son, Val, in the 1950s. This one was made in 1958. It has an anodized aluminum receiver, and you could choose black, silver, green, or brown. I've seen blue before, too, but I don't think that was a standard color, and sometimes the brown ones came out a little more red than brown. It's super light, and holds only two 2-3/4 inch shells. It was my first gun, and my dad gave it to me when I was 12.

Edit: Sorry it's so blurry. For some reason when I re-size down to something that is viewable on this site, all the clarity goes out the window. Any idea how to re-size photos so they look just as good at smaller sizes?

My super redhawk was getting lonely being the only 44 magnum in the safe. So i got this to keep it company.

Agreed, 100%. That certainly is the case with me, and the guns in my collection.
