I regret selling my 3" Kimber .45acp 1911 as it was light and 100% reliable. Don't really regret selling any others. Judging by the comments here, I should continue to keep my two security 6 and one speed 6 revolvers. I still have the original grips for the 6" security 6 and the speed 6, and the original box for the speed 6 :D

Many years ago a local small dealer had a mint S&W model 58 for what I thought was about $100 over what it should be. Within a year his price would be considered fair and today to find an equal, it would be several hundred dollars more.

Yes, that one I kick myself for passing on.

I passed up one in a Pawnshop for $250 in 1992. Always regretted that.

I've hardly sold anything at all, so file me under no regrets.

Nice trio there! You brought up another point...how many people here KEEP the box the firearm came in, assuming it came with one when you bought it. I ask, because judging by Gunbrokers sales if it still has the original box you can get anywhere from $15 to $300 more for the firearm if you sell it. :D

I keep all my boxes if the gun purchased came with one. I do believe that having all the stuff does add some value.
