Is OGC copyrighted or trademarked?

I've never seen any official use of the initials that I was aware of. Maybe Osseo Gun Club should've called themselves Maple Grove Gun Club so the members of OGC wouldn't get confused by a range that's 30 miles away. :P

ETA (edited to add ;) ): before you harp about "OGC" being used on Oakdale Gun Club's website, you should notice that it's used about 20% to the full club name's 80%. That tells me it's not a prominent part of their branding. The logo has the full name.

I won't begin to suggest there's anything close to a legal infringement at hand; OGC has been an informal/ slang / abbreviation on the inter webs.
But it does seem to be a bit odd that the initials were used 3 times in 4 sentences; that sorta jumped out at me.
As you say, they are geographically disparate, in spite of the related operational activities.

I'm pretty sure my docs wouldn't like hearing about me arm wrestling. Especially since when I slam your arm down on the table, I'd be whacking my ulnar nerve since it goes around the inside of my elbow now.

I'm as healed up as I'm going to get in the arm wrestling department. My neck is a bit stiff/sore, but otherwise I'm good to go. ;)

I don't have a dog in the OGC race either. Just poking fun at the drama for giggles. I'm disappointed by those rates for the new one over here, and the one over by Ed is just too darn far for me to drive to shoot outside. I can't get to Oakdale from my house in less than 45 minutes without traffic; which is really too bad because it's a pretty nice facility for what membership costs.

I hope that pic is not current and you are arm wrestling like that!!! My wife would be seriously irked if I did that!!!

Nope, not current. That was last winter's fun (early January and then mid feb). I had them both done back to back since my hands were wasting. Left nerve wasn't as compressed (they just released it rather than move it), but left hand shriveled up a lot worse than my right. Go figure.

Hands recovering I hope :)

Right handed? If so that might have been the difference?

I'm right handed, but the scar tissue was a lot worse in my left hand. It's likely due to how I held my work pieces tightly in my left while checking them with my right, but somehow that's not blatantly work related.

My left hand looks like it belongs on someone else's body. The muscles just won't come back. My right is often achy and sore if I try to do much with it, and also doesn't appear to be getting any stronger. I went from crushing the grip tester at 150in/lbs with full blown carpal tunnel syndrome at the time, to barely hitting let alone exceeding 130 and they say since that's normal for people my age that I should be happy I'm "normal".

It could be another 8 years before we'll know if I recover from this or not. Until then, I just keep trying to make progress on things I need to get done and try to keep positive when the body doesn't want to cooperate.

Well stay with you PT nerves heal slow unfortunatly.

Maybe electronic stimulation to help the left hand?

I actually go in for more PT in a couple weeks. Neurologist wants to try nerve stretches. He thinks my residual hand wonkiness is from the nerve still being too tight despite the relocation.

I just try to stay active and not over-do it too much. If this is as good as it gets, then I might as well make the most of it. If I get better, then that'd be cool too.
