I just try to stay active and not over-do it too much. If this is as good as it gets, then I might as well make the most of it. If I get better, then that'd be cool too.

Maybe they can do a brace if the strength is too poor?
Have they checked nerve function to see if it is recovering? Maybe a mri?

My weaker hand is my right, and with notable exception of my last carry class (Amazing how fast Ttousi can run by tne way) my left hand is not so good at shooting. If I am shooting with my left, standing infront of the target is the safest place in the county (well... not that bad really, but it feels that way).

My MRI's are actually really clean. I'm just one of the "lucky" ones where despite looking good, my spine sucks and causes problems. My neuropathy isn't in question as multiple docs have diagnosed me with spondylosis, and a few other funky named syndromes, the issue is what (if anything) there is to do about it?

I have wrist braces I'm supposed to wear for doing activities, but they don't prevent the symptoms that cause me problems. Running a chainsaw and moving brush/logs is the best physical therapy I have. I just need to not do it so much my hands go wonky. The ablation has really improved my quality of life since now I'm only suffering the fine motor control, sensory loss, and occasional spasms, rather than dealing with chronic pain which prevented me from ever reaching that point.

Prices above are per-hour.

At those prices I can't imagine they will get a lot of business when almost everyone else is $20 and $10 respectfully. Also they appear to impose the 1 hour rule when they want to which In Range also does.

Guess Target Sports in Rogers continues to be my go to range.

Looks like the Osseo Gun Club lowered their range fee.

Two People, 1 lane only $27.00 Includes 6 targets - Eyes and ears.

It appears the $27 is a special (which is a nice deal if you have 2 shooters), however if you go to their reservation system it still indicates the $29 and $17.

I'll hold tight for a few weeks and see if they adjust their 1 shooter rates. It would be really nice to have another local option.

$29 per hour seems insanely expensive! With gas prises moderating driving to other ranges may be alot cheaper.

$29/hr puts them way out of my budget.

I also imagine they're pushing for memberships in doing this - but as someone who goes to public ranges 3-7 times a year I have no desire to be tied to one facility just to be price comparable with the other local ranges.

I wish them well. I'm just not going there until it's more like $20/all day. Most people aren't going to camp out on a lane like I do. $120 is a bit more than I'm willing to spend on lane fees for one day.

It does make you wonder what the long range business plan looks like and what assumptions they made in it. I just don't think the local market will support the price or the one hour restriction, yet alone the 2 together.

With Total Defense, Target Sports, Bills and In Range all at basically the same price and only In Range has the hour rule(and I have seen them use it). Osseo is stacking the deck against themselves pretty good.

Looks like a nice place, maybe they will get some feedback and adjust and be another great destination. Lets hope so - a range going under would be a loss for shooters and potentially a political mess given what they had to go through to get up and running in the first place.

FF's range in Baxter has similar pricing. I don't know how well that's working for them either - the store is pretty well traveled, but I hardly ever hear shots. Mill's family can afford to subsidize the joint (it's a deduction if it loses money).

I still have maybe 17 tolkens left over from bills (hope they sill work) anyway tolkens made loads more sence to me than memberships. Memberships cost alot and you could lose alot of the value if you get sick (as I have) or have to move or...

It seems to me that as the metro population expands, and the number of gun owners expand the need for ranges will too. I am guessing more and more cities will want to lose the ranges they have, or prohibit new or the expansion of old ones. This could push ranges out farther and let closer ranges charge these insane fees.

In a way this could start pricing gun ownership out of the reach of alot of people. If you can't afford to shoot the gun this might discourage people from buying them. If people can't afford to practice, then the gun sits in its case waiting for some emergency and the owner's paniced attempts to try and load it and us it safely.

Geez, I feel sorry for you guys up north. Burnsville pistol makes those other places look like a joke. $15/visit with their 10 trip punch card (after tax), including a guest and up to 3 guns, no time limit, and a choice of the 25yd pistol range or the 46yd rifle bay

I can shoot out my back door but it really PO's the neighbors, they call Hennepin Cty sheriff, they come out and debate my right to shoot on my 10 acres, they call it in and ask their supervisor, he tells them he has to check, 30 minutes later he calls them back and says I'm fine, they go back to the neighbor and tell them there is nothing they can do. So 3 shots takes me about 60 minutes.

I've resorted to only doing it to chrono 3-5 rds to keep the locals happy, but the sheriff has been out more than a few times over the past 10 years.
