Shot this last Saturday at Minneapolis Rifle Club in absolute perfect conditions. Distance is 300 meters on the NRA MR-1 target scaled for 300 meters. X-ring is 3.3". Load testing new barrel on Barnard Palma rifle in .308 win. This is the load I will stick with, and just happens to be the exact same load the last barrel liked. Fired from prone position with sling, shooting jacket, and iron sights.

Shot this 3 shot, 100 yard group earlier this year before a 3-gun match just to confirm zero on my tac-limited rifle since I hadn't shot it in quite a while. Tac-limited meaning no magnified optics. This was shot prone in my backyard using a Burris XTS-135 optic. What's it take to shoot a .129" group with a 5 MOA red dot, 55gr FMJ bullets, while laying prone without a rest?..........lots of luck.

Alas though, for every target of fame there's a target of shame. This target of shame was shot in Kentucky in 2012 at the Blue Ridge Mountain 3-gun Championships. After tanking on the long range targets on 2 stages, I went to go check my zero. The group that is 4MOA low and 2MOA left was supposed to be in the middle. My rifle took a spill that morning and I thought it would be fine.....I was wrong. BTW,these were also shot prone, in the mud, with no rest and a 1-4x optic.

Here's one of my F-Class targets. Not bad, but not phenomenal either.

Thanks, though there was some luck involved as well. The condition could not have been better, and the rifle is an absolute hammer. All I had to do was keep from moving around too much!

I gotta say, your 1-hole group from prone at 100 with a red-dot sight and no rest is pretty darned good shooting also!

I did see the post.
As it was directed towards the guys here who can shoot really well, I didn't see it aimed at me, but there was nothing derogatory, or negative; I read it to be quite the contrary.

I don't recall anything that could be misconstrued.
Oh, well....

It was intended to be very positive but as written could have been interpreted as negative.
My mistake.

Not as good as Erik's target, and not my best effort by a long shot, but my bright spot in today's highpower league at MRC.

Nice shooting Mark! How was the turnout today? I wanted to be there, but we had 3 Christmas parties to go to. Made it to 2 of the 3. Will be at the next one for sure.
