Gun Shops

Postby 95thbonehead on Mon Jan 19, 2015 8:02 pm

Hello all,
I have a day off tomorrow with nothing to do and want to hit some gun stores. I am new up here so have no ideal to go and which stores are worth the effort. Any suggestions?

LOL. Not to be critical, but it would help to know where "here" is. This forum is open to people from anywhere.

I am in Minneapolis but did not post a location cause I travel a lot and really do not care where it is at! I drove to WI few weeks ago so have no issues with location since I want to learn about this state.

From Minneapolis, make a nice circle by heading west on 394 (stop at Frontiersman), then 494 south (stop at Gunstop and then Arnzen).

Then if you still have time to kill go south on 35W and check out Cabellas and Ahlmans.

If you are done with those five and the sun is not setting yet, you are doing it wrong :)
Did you just buy that beautiful firearm, or are you trying to sell that piece of crap?

Then you're pretty close to Burnsville Rifle & Pistol Range...you can test out whatever you bought at any of the above mentioned stores. Just to complete the tour of the South-West Metro I added Fleet Farm, Dakota Custom Guns, and Metro Pawn & Gun.

Itinerary

Oh, and swing in to Menards while you're at Arnzen if you've always wanted to ride an inclined walkway to get plumbing supplies but never had the chance.

I totally agree... Bought a desert eagle there around 2 years ago, and Arnzen was great to deal with. Very nice people!
