High end air rifles.

Postby Lil' Dog on Sun Mar 22, 2015 4:20 pm

Does anyone know if there is a local dealer of high end air rifles? I am looking for the RWS brand. There are plenty of online retailers, but I would like to handle one in person. I live just west of Minneapolis so any where in the metro area would be considered local to me. Thanks.

Try B&B supply At 4501 Minnehaha in Minneapolis, I haven't been there in a while but he carried RWS, FWB, Styer and a few others. Also a great place for service as well.

B & B is no longer a full retail shop. The building has been sold, the original owner lives very close to the old shop location. I made a service call at his home late one night this winter (furnace repair) He does some air gunsmithing in his home, has some bits of inventory ; a few rifles, but I don't recall seeing anything considered high end, all though, if there are any local shops, he'd know of them.
If you search google, the phone # should be current. If not I likely have his contact info.

To the OP: I doubt you'll find any local inventory of hunting or target guns. It's a small, esoteric market to be stocking stuff that cost several hundred to $1k+, but if you locate a shop, please post.

These guys are local. http://www.10pt9.com/cart.php

Although, I think they might be higher end than you're looking for, and I'm not sure what they stock.
I will never apologize for being an American.

I have found Straight Shooters out of St. Cloud, MN to be a good source for my air rifle needs. I have bought 3 from them since I first asked my fellow members where can I find someone who sells high quality air rifles. They only do online sales, no walk ins. It makes it tough if you don't have a good idea of what you want. I have never talked to them over the phone, but I have emailed all of my questions and comments to them and they have always responded to them rather quickly. They offer a very wide selection of guns, ammo, and accessories. The sky is the limit on what you can spend. It is up to you. The 3 that I own range from 350 to 400 dollars. You can spend 1500 or more just on a gun. It varies so much.
Anyways, I highly recommend them, they are local, but like I said online sales only. I have ordered 5 or 6 guns total, that includes actual firearms, from different vendors, sight unseen, online and have never had a problem with sales and service. I have not received a "bad" gun so to speak.
