James Yeager has been out of the spotlight for a while and feels the need to get back in. He is no different than Kanye and Kim, Justin Bieber or Dennis Rodman. Unfortunately he gives gun owners a bad name. Maybe if he didn't look like a hoodlum with the shaved head, tattoos, goatee, skull & crossbones etc.. it would be a little different. He is a real dandy.

Yeager has a lot of problems. The most glaring are his failed LE career and the Route Irish incident.
In terms of his current antics, I have heard from several sources that he is a very nice guy in person, but that he's just arrogant as F and is a narcissist. He believes in his supreme capabilities and can never be wrong. He does stupid crap and believes it's okay. His explanation to the photographer downrange video was that it "makes students shoot better" because they pay attention better. He has associated with some very questionable people in the past, including hack Jeff Bloovman and stolen valor perpetrator Cory Jackson from Range Time with Cory and Erika. What's sad is that he's defended his associations with them after-the-fact.

Calling him the Kanye of the shooting community is probably the most accurate description possible.
