I assumed it was purely for private use based on the comment that it doesn't need to run down the highway. Maybe I assumed poorly.

I'm not sure who's on 1st here - if it's for your private use on YOUR property, why does it need to be mobile, apart from moving to another piece of land you own...

I agree with you. In my mind I've decided he wants to build it at another location and then drive it to the farm for the rest of its existence. I'm curious to see his response.

I definitely want this to be kind of "old school carnival style". I have many ideas of what i want it to be like and what targets are going to be used but have yet to find much for info on the drive and reset mechanism.

As far as the trailer goes.... 1- I have the trailer. 2-I want to build it at home the move to the farm.3- I like the idea of being able to get it out of the elements. 4- while it may not go "far" i like the idea of bringing it to events that my friends and family put on.

Somebody posted a link above to one that is being buil in another forum and i really like the direction he is taking on that one.

Some of the guys at Rainbow Sportsman's Club in Cokato built one a couple years ago.

They haul it out for the Spring and Fall shoots at the club.

It's a double-decker affair, maybe 5 or long, and pretty heavy duty.
It has larger targets on the bottom and smaller ones on the top level.

Also the speed of the targets on lower level is slower than those on the top.

It's sitting in the storage shed now, you might be able to look at it if you contact the maintenance guy.

I'll send you a PM with his number.
