Transfers of Ruger Old Army

Postby OldmanFCSA on Fri Mar 03, 2017 6:22 pm

I'm selling a Ruger Old Army . Black powder revolver. New Model.

Does it require a legal transfer at a FFL dealer ?

I'm thinking YES.

Please advise.

Cap and ball don't require a background check.

It's your property, you can legally sell it any way you want.

It is black powder, so no need to go through an FFL.

The OLDMAN speaketh : The Ruger Old Army has been sold pending funds to a member on MN Gun Site.

Said revolver was issued to me in 1978. Last used in 1983 to start a motorcycle offroad race. Then cleaned, oiled, and sat in storage until today.
