Talk about some names from the past. Of course I haven't been active here for three years since I moved to the east side of Wisconsin. I was one of the people on here the first day, and occasionally I'll wonder what happened to some of the guys I used to see all the time. Jac714, HammAR, Macphisto, PLBlark, MNGlocker, Stradawhovious. All people that provided entertainment if not valuable information.

My theory is that the small group feel went away and became like a lot of other forums. Also the Pink Pony drove some off with his persistent trolling.

I’m still here. Not posting as much as I used to. I think there’s such a rise in “firearm media” or at least I’m finding a lot more good information than I ever did in the past. I used to ask technical questions here and there, but I’m finding my answers a lot easier than ever before.

That, and I have a new career, got married, and bought a house. I’m fortunate that I bought a house I can shoot in the backyard, and married a woman that enjoys shooting. The problem is, it takes more time, energy, and money than I initially expected and balancing all of this has left competitions a little lacking.

Oh, I will say this too. I don’t come on here as much anymore because Tapatalk became unusable for a while. I suppose I can check if it’s working now, but it wouldn’t let me post anymore. So I deleted it and just come on in my smartphone browser. That leads to its own issues. I only use my phone these days for internet and almost never sit down at a computer.
