I used to shoot there in the winter for their pistol league.

Work started playing games with my schedule, and I stopped going up there. About 2 hour drives at night in the winter really started to get old, and having to depend on Mike's letting me shoot through one squad to finish seemed like I was abusing things, so I stopped.

I am not sure how its worth $1.5 M, but hopefully Roger can get it.

Has anyone talked to Roger lately?

It's been more than a decade since I shot there regularly. He wasn't the youngest guy back then, doesn't seem unreasonable that he'd want to retire.

I know that BVP has a loyal following of shooters and on certain days the parking lot looks full. I haven't shot there for a long time however. I do check in from time to time to see if anything has changed -- it hasn't.

My impression, formed over the past 20 years, is that BVP is not unfriendly to its clientele however it is not particularly friendly either. The staff has not changed in a long time so you know who I'm talking about.

There is a saying that goes: " In the land of the blind the one-eyed man is King " . As of 2018 when The Modern Sportsman arrived, the truth of that saying became abundantly clear.

Some will disagree, but everyone is entitled to their own opinion.
