One of the many reasons I haven't sold any guns off internet posts. Bought a few but from established members of this community. Can be scary out there with the crazies running around.....
We should have overwatch teams available for each other......(sort of kidding)
There is an ancient thread on this board dealing with a Craigslist buy ... socks, I think.......that got pretty funny

Only two guns I've ever sold I sold at Lampi auctions. Got decent money even after fees and didn't have to deal with anyone.

I just sold five guns (2 handguns and 3 stripped lowers) recently to one person from a listing on this page. Just ran it all through Roger at Burnsville pistol range and paid the ffl fees myself. Worked great and didn’t have to worry about any of that ********. Would do it again. I’m at the point now where anything I transact is going through FFL whether I’m buying or selling. It’s worth the fee to me.

Using an ffl just adds cost. I only use an ffl for Saturday night specials so I don’t get in trouble for the melting point.

Isn't it illegal for the FFL to process it but legal for you to sell it personally? Where is Russtra when you need him?

Have had 2 fake FFL's sent to me for sales in southern state. Check FFL's is easy but PITA to have to do it. Have had more scams in the past year of every kind from phone sales to emails with invoices for services never purchased.

RE phone number: Armslist is not the only place for scams from that number. Number shows as State Plumbing company and is blocked by yellow pages. Address is a townhome. Number also shows for Wagner Plumbing with same addy and a different number at the top of web page but has no reviews. 2121Oakridge St in St Paul. Phone is a Cellco number through Verizon. The number also comes up as a couple missed call scam numbers.

Yep - free. I don't do FB, twitter, snap chat etc - hate that stuff. Joined Mewe because I heard the 2A stuff was awesome - and it is.

Sign up, search for MN gun 2A / reloading / gun / hunting groups, join groups, buy, sell trade with MN folks that have PTC / PTP (requirement for almost every group).
