Didn’t they reopen the range? Wonder if that is closed again.

No guns at all? They still had them last time I stopped in there, must have been within the last month or so.

Well, I guess there isn’t much reason to stop in any more then. There wasn’t much of a reason anyways, but our dog hair cut lady is a half mile away, so I usually stop in there and Fleet Farm to kill time when I bring him in.

I believe the last day Gander Outdoors had guns of any sort was Sept 10. The following Friday was the last day for all other hunting/shooting accessories. This after several weeks of sale prices of up to 75% off.

Initial sale prices weren't good enough for me but others thought differently as those items were not around at them next price drop. Or, someone scarfed them up before I showed up on the next price drop.

Fishing equipment was gone the last time I was there but I was told there were plans to bring it back in January or February. Whether those plans will lead to fruition is anybody's guess but I wouldn't hold my breath.

It may have been the plan all along. The building’s and ground under the stores was most likely more valuable than the business itself. The tipping point may have been when the supply chain for firearms and ammunition dried up.

Camping world’s owner is anti gun.

This was his stated policy. He announced it to great MSM acclaim a while back.

I doubt ammunition availability had anything to do with it.

While I am sure there are a lot of folks who camp who don’t hunt, alienating a substantial part of your market just doesn’t sound like a wise business model.

Mixed feelings here. Not happy to see a retailer pull out as a source for supplies and products, but appreciate that my purchases are not funding anti-2A activity.

Scheels in EP is awesome, so much better than Gander. They have quality products like Sitka gear and the list goes on. The sales associates are top notch, buying hunting licenses and duck stamps are a breeze. I can’t say enough good things about that store and location and no I don’t work there.
