FFL suggestions south metro area

Postby jimithing616 on Thu Jan 20, 2022 10:31 am

Hey y’all, man I haven’t been on here in 8 years but I am hopping back on to ask you good folks for suggestions on a good FFL in the south metro, or anywhere around the cities, that I can ship my Geissele to for a fair price. I know a lot of guys are running FFL’s out of their homes so that’s fine too

Thanks

^^^ Both good options.

Other options:
Accutac Arms (downtown Lakeville)
Mark's Guns (Rosemount - home FFL)

Accutac and Mark's both offer $15 transfers for MN Gun Owners Caucus members.

Burnsville pistol range has always been super easy to deal with. They have a downloadable copy of their FFL on the website that you can send to whoever is shipping the rifle, then just stop and do the $25 transfer when it comes in.

I agree that BPR is great to deal with. But word of advice is to try to go do your transfers there when Roger isn’t super busy. Call ahead if in doubt. Sometimes he’s the only one there and if he has to deal with a lot of customers, he may not be able to handle your transfer right there and then. But he’s a super great guy and will get it done. Just don’t overwhelm him.

I guess I was lucky. When I worked in the area, I did most of my transfers with Roger. He usually had time for conversation; not really a small-talk guy, but very knowledgeable.
If he was busy I sat and read a magazine for a bit.
As was said - simple and painless: Email the pdf of his FFL; wait for his phone call.
I would still make the drive if I needed an FFL.
