If denied get an attorney and appeal the determination.

BTW, given the way you seem to think this will go I would also advise that you quit posting about it. I am pretty sure that is the first advice an attorney will give you.

Marc Berris would be a good choice.

Just wanted to let you all know that I finally got my permit today! Wow that was a long delay! I won't be buying a gun for a while now though since I'm broke as a joke, but it's still good to have and I'm glad this ordeal is over.
