I always thought this was an interesting angle. Now matter how revolted most of the nation is about something like the VT shooting, there is always going to be a small percentage of sickos that think that shooting up a school or college is cool. The ultimate act of revenge upon the people they hate, like jocks and cheerleaders, who serve as a symbol of what they cannot obtain themselves. I always wondered whether the VT shooter would still be able to attain that cult-status if he would have been shot in the dingie by a cheerleader who pulled a cute ladysmith out of her purse... No heroic 'going out in blaze of glory by taking your own life' , but having to crap in a colostomy bag for the rest of your days and no more dingie. I hope I'm making sense here.

Now that would have been poetic justice.

Unfortunately we are now going to be faced with a continual barrage of anti-gun legislation, and an escalation of that same rhetoric in the media. Times are a changing' folks, and let's get ready.

I'm up here in Northern Minnesota, where just about everybody has voted Democratic since well before, well SCOTUS elected W.

We are going to have to bridge out a bit, and make an effort to include the HUGE hunting community (ever been in a Cabela's?). This should be our future voting base for anything dealing with RKBA. F*ck national health care (which I and many northern Democrats support) - that ain't the issue here. The battle is about RKBA.

Most people in Northern Minnesota are socially very conservative.
