Yes... drifted that way... The fact that he is a deliverer of pizza pies for his chosen profession has absolutely no relevance in relation to his incident with the police.

In Jr. High & High School my friends and I all had the stars & bars and would draw them on our notebooks. It had more to do with being fans of Lynyrd Skynyrd & Dukes of Hazzard than with the actual Confederacy.

I like your version better... 'Awarded The Stars And Bars' sounds much more noble than what he said.

I absolutely believe that a pizza driver would wear shorts on a cold day. I see it all the time, I had a driver that would only wear long pants if it was below zero. Hell, this weather keeps up I'll be wearing shorts tomorrow, and I'm not a driver anymore.

It is possible he told the LEO that he was on his way to the pizza place.

What ever happened to the pizza drivers who shot bad guys while they were delivering? They were fired for CCW in violation of company policy. In the corporate world, the life of a delivery driver is not valued. My hat goes off to all who work unarmed in dangerous professions.

I for one believe if a person feels they are in danger of being harmed by bad people, they have the right to arm themselves. I question how many Pizza corporation CEO's and VP's have delivered a pizza at 1am in certain high crime areas? My answer, none.

How a person feels has no bearing on the fact that they have that right.

Whether they feel they're in danger or not does as no bearing on the fact that they have that right.

Still not clear. Why, then would the officer subject him to an unlawful detention. Does the LEO not like pizza? :?

Doesn't make sense.

Heck yeah sir... Who does not like pizza? This is America after all. Maybe some of those cops down south with confederate flags do not like pizza... But wait, maybe they are more American than us... Oooh this is getting sticky!

Either way, unless this guy was on the WAY south side of Coon Rapids, I think he should have been safe.

As long as he doesn't run into any hot-headed, purportedly on-duty, undercover Robbinsdale cops.
