Not a very positive image. Holland was only expressing himself in a respectful manner. He can do that. Why do some of you think you are so high and mighty?
Show respect, and kindness to all. Remember, this is a public board, not your private one.

Carrying a gun isn’t a “very positive image” in some circles. I still do it, and could give a **** what people think about me and the image of me exercising my rights.

Respect and kindness are earned, Buddy. The way I see it those signs are not showing me respect or kindness. It is my Constitutional Right to Keep and Bear arms, and call me crazy but I don’t like when it is infringed. I could care less what others do and won’t ask them to explain themselves.

We are very lucky to carry in Minnesota. Why not try and put forth a positive image? It can only help, not hurt.
Are you always this angry? I totally disagree with you regarding respect and kindness.

If you are so bent on defending, and displaying your second amendment rights, why don't you open carry? Why cover it up? Show the world how you feel.

I carry a firearm also. I am concerned about the image that act displays. It is much more then a right, it is a responsibility.

You asked to be called crazy. You are crazy.

On the contrary, there is no "luck" in the Minnesota carry law, we owe our ability to carry to a small group of people (Joe Olson, John Caile, Andrew Rothman etc...) who worked very hard to get the law the way it is. I also don' see how exercising a Constitutional right is lucky.

I think you will find many (if not most) of us agree on the image thing, however a right not exercised is a right lost.

I rarely hide how I feel, and how I carry has nothing to do with that.

I picked up this little number at the show for my son:

He was totally chuffed to get a scoped rifle. Now he's got the CRR model (junior sized) 10/22, this one, and a nice Remington bolt action, in addition to his SIG Mosquito.
