I might just have to sell the witness as well and stick with the 870 as my last line of defense.

Thanks again for all the info and advice guys...

Sounds like you've hit a bump in the road. Hang in there buddy. And don't sell your defense unless you really gotta!

I think Beaverbrook is closer than either. I also believe we have some openings

I'm pretty interested in getting a membership at Beaverbrook. Perhaps you can answer a few questions. From my understanding the rifle range is 100yards. Say I want to shoot at 50 yards or 25 yards, can a person set up target stands at whatever distances they want up to the 100 yards or are you pretty much stuck at 100 yards all the time? Pardon my ignorance, but Bill's is the only range I shoot at so I don't really know all proper etiquette. All my other shooting gets done on my own land at my cabin.

My other question is what are the rules on how rapidly you can shoot? I don't really speed shoot often but I also don't like being restricted to only 1 shot every couple seconds. Thanks in advance and sorry for the thread drift.

To take your questions in order:

The rifle range has intermediate berms at 25, 50, (and I believe 75), and 100 yards.

I am not aware of anyrules regarding the rate of fire, you have to be safe but we shoot IDPA on the range and we shoot a lot faster that 1 round per second.

Let me know if I can be of any more help.
