Looking to pick up a 22 rifle for a gift. Little torn between the Wildcat or the Savage Mark 2. Trying to keep price below $250
Thoughts?

Seems like there is good product support and people seem happy with it.
I feel with a bolt action you feel a little more connected to each shot.
Local place can get me the Mark ii G ( wood stock) For $250.00 which feels reasonable.
Walmart does have a non-accutrigger for $160 with synthetic stock. But, rather pay the extra for the better trigger and stock.
So, you guys kinda confirmed what I was already thinking.

IMHO the accutrigger is a must.
