I may try and cut back... Only 2-3 in 2014... But they will be big purchases... Hopefully All of them $1500+...

I don't have limits or a plan. The only thing I'm interested in, in the near future is the glock 42 and the Tavor.

I'm just happy I'm getting my Beretta 85FS back from Beretta repair. It's like I'm getting a new gun. I'm so excited I can't stand it. Picked up 500 rounds today to put through it the day it gets back (probably Thursday or Friday.)

Happy new year to all MNGuntalk members!!!!! May it be a happy, healthy, safe and prosperous year.

Today I picked up my last gun purchase of 2013. No more gun buying until next year. :D

Snuck in one more before the end of the fiscal year. Gotta spend that budget or you lose it.

Thanks to Arnzen I now have a US-made Austrian living in my house...

Hopefully my two builds will be completed in 2014 (both 1911's) other than that this is my motto for 2014?

You just reminded me I have a pickup to make. But they count as 2013 still ;)

Actually I think I have enough. There are some I'd like to have but there are other things I need to save for. If the boss continues to be a dick I may just walk off the job sooner rather than later.

More toys would be nice, but what I really need the most is to be able to afford to live-fire more often, and to take tactical defense courses. If I could ever get off temp work and find a permanent position. :|

Limits? How about challenging yourself to buying either more or upgrading the quality of your purchases. I never try and limit myself. I leave that to alcohol ;)

This thread made me realize that I purchased more than half of my firearms in this past calendar year. Gonna be hard to improve on that in 2014, but it's good to have goals.

Huh, what?

He purchased better than one half of his collection last year. And he feels it's gonna be hard to improve on that in 2014. But it's good to have goals.

Kinda like me

Crap, I just reached the 2014 limit of 1 I set for myself four days ago! What to do now :hmm:
Did you just buy that beautiful firearm, or are you trying to sell that piece of crap?

Actually, I think my goals for the year won't involve any firearm purchases. Instead, I would like to get some functional custom improvements to several I already own, and training to improve my skill with them. Any aditional hobby dollars I plan to use stocking up on more ammo in the safe and safe accessories.
