You can browse for free, but to even contact a seller, you need a paid account.

I saw this today. That's the end of that. I had a couple things listed but didn't have much luck. To me it seems since this spring the buyers contacting me have become more and more questionable.

Yup, and I tried to email them and have them delete my account and you have to link to and ad to even do that. I just deleted them from my favorites. It is now a chance for this forum to help out us locals looking to buy or sell something.

Let the gun grabbers sue everyone they want. It costs money to do that and if all you have is a website and no assets pretty soon their attorneys will give up chasing shell companies. I used to be in business and saw people that did not have insurance get off free since there was no place the attorney could figure out how to get paid. If you have insurance or assets then they will take the case. Especially if you are insured because they KNOW the insurance company will pay them off rather than go to court!

You do know this forum has a marketplace section?

Yup, that is what I was talking about... More people use the marketplace here instead of Armslist!

I think you can contact Premium Vendors for free. I just tried contacting a private seller, and got the same popup for a required pay to play upgrade.

Armslist is still pay to play, nothing has changed from what I can see.

Its a money grab for them on top of the sponsor fees they demand from dealers and the google ads revenue.

Not too many private folks will pay to list 5 items at a time nor will people that are looking to purchase pay a membership fee. Too many other venues out there that cater to buyers with no fee payment necessary.

I had also sent them a request to close my account. Got a reply today that they will cancel my listings. No mention of my account
