gryfalcon, the Saiga 12ga was a great gun, but the AA-12 is better. it's not even a comparison. and actually, it is older (being designed in 1972, as referenced to this Wikipedia page http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Atchisson_Assault_Shotgun) and to actually compare Saiga to AA-12, would be like comparing an Edsel to a Rolls Royce. the AA-12 is all Stainless Steel and polymer. the Saiga is cheap steel. the AA-12 requires cleaning after approximately 1500 rounds (even in desert environments) and the Saiga needs to be cleaned as frequently as any other Russian made weapon. the AA-12 is also not based on any one particular weapon, but the Saiga is an obvious variant of Kalishnikov design (and since i personally like AK-47s as much as i like lobotomies, that's not a good thing).
saying that guns kill people is like saying that spoons made Rosie O'Donnell fat.

Yeah I got the point, if we started to ague over facts it could get messy.

"I spoke with Mid-American Recreation Inc. (the makers of the AA-12) I was calling them to see what the price of an aa-12 was because I was wanting to get a dealer sample. He said that they are $3800.00. He also said that the owner didn't offer sales to anyone other than police/military or linked organization's."

Star Trek phaser (since money was no object, I took the liberty of playing that technology isn't either...)

Gatling Gun
one of George Patton's
one of the .45 Luger prototypes

was originally thinking pistol variety, but thinking about how stupid traffic can be, guess I'd have to vote for both hand-held and truck mounted!!!

I disagree. A Semi-Auto S12 has a higher rate of fire than the AA-12, it's much cheaper and is commercially available.

I would definitely own an AA-12 as well, but to call it better is easily debatable.
