Thunderjohn does $20 and I bet you can talk him into meeting close to you, plus you'd be supporting a forum member's business, and you won't find a nicer guy.

Last I heard, BPR charged $20. Did they raise their rates?

This is off of the BPR website.

Firearms Transfers

Individuals may send out a copy of our FFL (available at the Range or you may download a copy by clicking here). After a firearm arrives, the transfer paper work is done for a $20.00 fee. PLEASE NOTE! Any firearm or receiver not picked up 180 days after receipt will be considered abandoned and disposed of by management.

Please note: You may want to call before coming to the range to pick up a transfer. Roger or Susan are the only staff

that can transfer firearms, and occasionally they are not available to do so.

ALSO NOTE: ATF Regulations REQUIRE that a locking device be with any handgun transferred. You may bring in one

or purchase one here. All NEW firearms are USUALLY delivered with one.

We require that if your transfer requires a permit to purchase, (handgun or assault rifle) your address on your per,it match your drivers license.

There is no exception to this rule so if they don't match, please don't argue with us.

BPR is $20.. i've dealth with them before, excellent and smooth as can be. would highly recomend them.

Last time i was in Bills i overheard that they had increased to $50 or $75 but i did not confirm. you may want to check.
i do what i can, where i'm needed, and i ask so little in return. i'm a true humanitarian fueled by rainbows and whiskey. you should be so lucky to know me...

Alright, I just decided to go through Thunderjohn since I had such a good experience with him and my XD45c... I'd rather support a small local shop guy like him than one of these big-name places...

BPR is free if you have a Mega Shooter pass. I made enough transfers with them last year to pay for more than half the pass cost of $400.
May I assume you're not here to inquire about the alcohol or the tobacco?

$20 is correct... Thought I paid $25 before... Guess not. I stand corrected.

That and you know if something goes bad, John will take care of it. Sometimes all the bigger guys do is point the finger elsewhere. I'll always pay more to be sure of good service and satisfaction.

Something else to keep in mind is that some FFLs won't accept shipment from a non-FFL, so it's good to ask ahead of time as the sellers on gunbroker aren't always FFLs themselves. The one I've found that will accept shipments from non-FFLs still requires copy of seller's drivers license. I suspect there are some non-FFL sellers that would balk at that though too.

Scout, I bet you wish you would have saved that image for one of justaguy's posts. Just saying.

I use John and he has been great. Even used him to ship hangun because it was cheaper than I could do it myself.
