Just because you're paranoid doesn't mean they are not out to get you.

They've been out to get me since I was born... (That'd be 18 years today.)

Careful. My baby cousin just started St. Thomas last fall.

Bogus...I've gotten one for the last 3 years from EP, and not once has the topic of money come up. In fact, they've had some of the best understanding of the firearms laws that I've seen out of metro departments.

You need to make a phone call, my friend. Something isn't jiving.

You didn't apply for your permit with some guy out in the parking lot, did you? Oldest trick in the book

Here's a question for you. When you get to St Thomas -- where are you going to be living? ON Campus or OFF Campus?

If ON Campus -- you won't be able to keep your gun in the dorm or student housing. Its private property, and if I remember correctly from my days there - "Dangerous Weapons" are forbidden in campus housing.
Nothing to see here. Continue swimming.

Well, he COULD keep it there without breaking the law...

Nothing illegal about them kicking him out for it either.

Kind of a damned if you do, damned if you don't...

Ah. Modern America.

I'd like to see that case.... Seems to me it falls under "Landlord cannot disallow". There's gotta be someone with a rich dad willing to take that on.
