Southwest Arms / Thunderjohn - have you bought from him?

Postby TCFurDad on Mon Aug 23, 2010 8:37 am

I've been in touch with John who runs Southwest Arms regarding ordering a couple of guns I've wanted but am having trouble finding. He seems like a good guy, totally legit and all. I'm just extra cautious when it comes to purchasing anything and even more so when it comes to guns. A few people in another thread seemed to be familiar with him by mentioning him as one of the Twin Cities' best dealers.

I just wanted to double check here and see if anybody has bought from him. So, if you've dealt with him and/or bought with him, if you could just tell me, and maybe briefly say how your experience was, good/bad, any problems, etc. I have no reason to think that there will be any problem ordering through him, I just want to be extra sure though.

Thanks.

If you search the threads here, you will find many, many positive reviews for John, and nothing negative that I am aware of. I have bought 3 or 4 guns from him and all the transactions went extremely smooth. John's great to work with, an honest guy, and quick to deliver. Buy with confidence.

I too have bought multiple guns from John.
I steer all my Buds his way!! A great guy and someone you can trust!
Scopes, Guns and related accessories are all cheaper through John. I like to refer to Southwest Arms as my new "Best Buy" of firearms. :D

ThunderJohn is a personal friend of mine. You'll search far & wide to find anyone with MORE integrity that he.

Buy with confidence.

I've purchased from John previously and will echo the other feedback in this thread - you can buy/deal with him in total confidence.

Thanks!

I'll echo everyone's sentiments. I purchased my FNX-9 from him a couple months ago. He was able to match the price I was quoted from CDNN, and even arranged to meet me at a place convenient to me to take the order. I would order from him again without hesitation.

You can not do any better than John. I also consider John a personal friend and I am proud work with, purchase from and help John every chance I get. John is 200 percent legitimate and his morals and ethics are above reproach.

I've recommended ThunderJohn to a couple friends and the buddy who bought a gun transferred through ThunderJohn's FFL said the experience was simple and straight forward.

I have purchased from Thunderjohn, and will again in the future. One of the best firearms transactions I have been involved with.

There are a only few people that I know I can count if I need something, guns or otherwise. John is one of them.
