Did my post about receiving my permit get removed?

I wonder why?

I would like to have access to some of that info...

It went to purgatory; because it looks like you're trying to get around the law and no one on this forum, the managment or the site owner endorses or commends skating the rules.

That or you're just a troll looking to bait the forum owner into some kind of liability. I'd sugeest either you behave or go hang out some place else. Have you ever heard the expression "Go play in the highway kid."?

Apparently a moderator didn't like the topic being discussed, or certain questions that were being asked. For example if you started a thread about removing serial numbers from a firearm it would probably be locked down... You can probably start a new thread if you have a new question or issue you want to discuss with people. As long as you're obeying the rules you should be fine: viewtopic.php?f=4&t=2071

To my knowledge the admins & moderators are very fair and don't ban people arbitrarily because they don't like them.

I know, for example, that you had a specific question about private sales. Feel free to repost the question - and I know many of us would be happy to point you in the right direction.

Thanks!

Today is 8 calendar days. I called Stillwater PD and spoke with the women there who was extremely kind and said that I should call her tomorrow morning, and she would have it ready for me to pick up. Very nice.

As for breaking any rules, I did inquire about purchasing privately, but that was it. I wonder if someone else posted something inappropriate?

Any way I appreciate everyone'e help here!

I would just keep moving forward and not worry about the past.

The deal is if you are denied by NICS or anyone even thinks you might be denied by NICS they cant really help you get a gun. So your only real option now is to get your permit to purchase. Buy a gun from an FFL and hopefully be approved by NICS. If you get a denial from NICS you need to resolve that before you can get a gun and that includes private party transactions.

As I recall, you were asking for where you could buy a gun if you were denied a permit to purchase. If you are ineligible to own a firearm, we want no part of helping you get one.

Since you now have you're permit to purchase, that removes that concern. Nevermind...

Congrats, and be safe.

Interns are not serious business. They're usually worthless, although sometimes nice to look at.
