Anyone want to venture a guess that the vast majority of those "black male teens" are from one parent households. You know the ones....where mom pumps out babies every other year so those government checks keep rolling in. No role models. Wait, I correct myself...no GOOD role models.

One woman who asked not to be identified tells us that contrary to some belief, the young people involved in the mob did not go to the rap concert that night.

What's your point?

Well, the point is that if you actually dig into studies about this, the correlation between one parent households and becoming a criminal are astronomically high (like a correlation coefficent of greater than .8), so one causes the other.

I believe the Valley Fair incident you refer to was actually a black-on-black attack. But yes these kinds of things- on a smaller scale have been occurring in the Mpls/ St Paul area; mostly in the form of 'flash-mobs' descending on, and looting convenience stores. All the while the media and like-minded pundits go to tortured extremes to ignore the elephant in the room.

These incidents are just minor aberrations, coincidences, if you will, and are not indicative of any trends or a reflection on the culture of any one group.
