Kids on our block just throw rocks at the mailbox and each other.

Here is a picture of me building my bunker when I was about 11-12 years old for playing army. :D

I wish I had a picture of the wooden Ma Duece the neighbor guy built for me to put in there. It was awesome.

I played laser tag with the other kids on the block.

I wish I was your neighbor. I would have helped. Nice call on the 1911...

I go to my parents, and the nieces and nephews are usually running with some assortment of toy medieval weapons and firearms... you know, kids running around with a wooden shield and a battle axe in hand and a p-38 in a cowboy holster, as if it were a perfectly rational thing to do! :D

My parents were kind enough to give my 2 year old a couple of toy guns. When he wants to play, he usually hands me the single action six, and keeps the over-under for himself..... :o

Great bit on neighborhood "gun" wars when kids had to really use their imagination (you know, 30-40 years ago).

Where's the best place to get toy guns these days that aren't fluorescent green Nerf? Fleet Farm?

Halloween shop! Ak's, M16's, and Uzi's. No real looking semi auto handguns though, but plenty of 6 shooters. Probably for a few more weeks.

When I was a kid. I was always the gunner riding in the wagon, being pulled by a buddy on a bike.

Remember cap guns? I LOVED those when I was a kid. I wonder what was in them. Maybe that's why I still like the smell of
gun powder and shooting my SW 686. My mom and I fought every Sunday when she wouldn't let me wear my hat to church.

The AR the little one had across the street had 'sound', full auto! :)

I made 1911's over glocks because the "pattern" was handy.

My 13 year old son has an airsoft war every 2 or 3 weeks with a half dozen or so of his friends. We have woods, swamp, and tall grass behind our yard and the boys love coming over to battle. After battling in the field, they'll play a game they invented where one person goes up on the deck with a airsoft rifle while the other guys run back and forth in the back yard, trying to avoid being hit. The last one hit wins and is the next one to go up to the sniper tower. My son likes showing off all of his welts when he's done.

My 9 year old bought all of his older brother's nerf guns and now he likes to set up ambushes, usually attacking his brother. That always ends in a wrestling match.
