Mills Fleet Farm Handgun Ammo Policy

Postby Dave Timm on Fri Feb 03, 2012 1:14 pm

Hey Guys,

In the past a few have asked about the policy regarding buying handgun ammo at Mills Fleet Farm stores. Just to give you an update, admin team has heard your complaints and has changed policy. Some stores it is still behind the counter, others it is out on the shelf, but the days of ID, signing the form, and bagging are done. You may be asked for age verification at checkout but that is a common occurrence at most retailers.

Any questions please let me know.

Thanks for your support of our stores, just thought you would like the update.
Take care guys,
Dave

Yay! Thanks for your efforts. That was one thing that stopped me from shopping there.

Thanks guys, I also know that when I spoke to the buyers a couple of weeks ago they are looking at adding to the handgun ammo line and want to be very competitive in pricing. We are hoping that there will be no reason to shop anywhere else for handgun ammo.

Thanks again for the support.

I haven't had the bagged ammo thing happen for quite a while at the Highway 36 and 694 store. All of the ammo is out in the open. It looks like handguns are being carried now too in addition to rifles.

Good move...I always thought it was off kilter to bag and ID ...

Wow, thank you. It is really nice to see feedback get so promptly acted on. FF is always my first stop for ammo, if they can expand their selection past the most common stuff, that would really be nice and keep all my dollars going their direction.

Maybe you guys should also consider getting into reloading components? ;)
