Carry in a bar.

What are your thoughts on bars banning guns. About the only time I go is for a burger and maybe 1 drink (never more) Sorry if this has been discussed before.

I carry in a bar often, as I am a designated driver often. None of the ones around here are posted though, so no biggie.

Minnesota law: 0.04%.

Tell that to the prosecuting/plaintiff attorney and the jury.

If the Bar is posted, Politely go in and tell them you'll be spending your cash across the street! They'll soon get the picture, money talks!

Any private business has the right to ban guns, but it's not illegal for you to ignore the sign and carry anyway. It's not illegal to have a drink in a bar while carrying, although it is illegal to have a BAC >.04%, so calibrate carefully.

Carry everywhere it is allowed. I rarely have one beer if I'm carrying, because although it is legal, if you ever had to use it your lawyer bills are going to be much higher than if you just drank a coke.

The wife and I go to the bar for burgers by our hose once a week. She leaves her pistol at home because she drinks a few with dinner. I drink pop. the bar we go to knows we both carry and they know if I am drinking pop... I am carrying. They don't mind at all. Good burgers, cheap beer and they welcome permit holders.

So next time you are in coon rapids, go have a burger at willys bar and grill.
Wrap that around your overly muscled left wing and row your dinghy in counterclockwise circles as a result.

Next time you're in there tell them to get Surly Furious back on tap. Monday night $5 burgers had us in there almost every week for a while! My inlaws are in there a lot too.

On the Blvd. IIRC it used to be Grumpy's. New management, new name.
